photo journal : fabrics at the national gallery

An impromptu visit to the National Gallery had me in awe of a collection that I have rarely, if ever, paid much attention to. My focus on this visit was on the beauty of painted fabrics, such an array of textures, and I found it just astonishing to get right up close to the paint marks and see the essence of abstraction that each depiction of fabric was made up of.
